Children

Focus on opportunities, not limitations

Cerebral Palsy

Are you looking for a new sucsesful approach to the treatment of cerebral palsy, which has already proven its effectiveness?

For many years, the main approach in trying to help children and adults with cerebral palsy to do better has been to focus on their muscles. Treatments include stretching the muscles when they are spastic and short, stimulating muscles when they are not working well, or implementing other direct mechanical interventions.

With NeuroMovement, we work with your child where he is at. We provide your child with the many variations and experiences his brain needs in order to learn and grow. As a result, movement becomes pleasurable, children want to move, their thinking and academic abilities improve, and they feel empowered and much happier.

Autism Spectrum Disorder

Are you searching for a holistic approach to autism?

With  NeuroMovement®, we understand that the job of the brain is to put order in the disorder and make sense out of the nonsense. The brain of the child on the autism spectrum has difficulty in doing so.

With this approach, the world begins to make more sense for children on the autism spectrum.
We do not seek to “fix” the child. Rather we look to connect with the child and serve as a bridge for the child to connect to her or himself.

We know that the brain requires the feeling of safety and great variability in order to become the brilliant brain it can be.

Undiagnosed Developmental Delays

We believe that every child develops at his own rate and through his own unique path.
At the same time, the underlying processes and conditions needed for successful brain development are the same for all children. Your child’s brain is a remarkable system that will grow successfully if given the right conditions.

What is at greater risk? Waiting until there might be very clear evidence that there is a problem or not? Compare this to the risk of taking your child to an ABM NeuroMovement® Practitioner who can evaluate your child. Perhaps more importantly, a practitioner can help to move your child to the next level of development if there is some kind of interference.

Scoliosis

Children and adults with scoliosis often experience back, hip, neck, and shoulder pain. Scoliosis can also lead to reduced mobility and challenges with breathing and balance, as well as other serious complications such as digestive issues, lung and heart damage, and more.

The spine is a part of a highly complex, dynamic system (your whole body) that is ultimately controlled by the brain. And the brain gives the commands to muscles whether to contract or not.

So, it is the brain that we need to inform and change when we want to reduce the curvature in the spine and increase mobility, agility, and comfort

Genetic Disorders

Are you looking for an approach that focuses on the possibilities for your child?

This Method helps your child’s brain become a brilliant learning brain, creating new neural patterns that help your child to move past limitations and experience new possibilities.
If we have not worked with a specific condition before, you can try a series of private lessons for your child to see if there any positive changes with NeuroMovement. We cannot predict what will happen, but often the results are surprising!
